Do you know, I always pronounce it hard-g, long y from that one Simpson's ep. "Oh, the GAIM." I dunno how to spell exactly what I pronounce if you don't know what Simpsons ep I'm referring to... guime perhaps. Hard G sound, long I sound. THen an m, which is not ambiguous.
SO, about the gym, man, it sure is easy to work out when you have a GBA! And timing is brilliant, too, when you konw that one pass through Pokemon League is 20 minutes.
But here's the interesting part: I get home from the gym, and I'm going to finish my post-workout soda before I bathe, and so I'm typing on LJ and on IRC, and I notice that my spelling skizzillz have gone all wonky. It's as if that one exposure to jockness has decreased my intelligence. Who knows what will happen next time I go.
Damn it was nice to not get fuckoff bored while working out. I'm not doing any of that strength training stuff either, just the cardiovascular type workout. The point is to get in shape, not to get strong like yo mama. I just want to be able to play pranks and run like hell without a.) getting caught or b.) getting winded. It's not a spectacular gym, but it's what I need for my own nefarious purposes. Next time I go (which may be tonite if I get really bored) I'm going to make them show me how to use the treadmill. That's the only thing I can't figure out and I've never used before. I mean, if you slow down on the bike or the stairmaster, it won't throw you. But the treadmill will. So... you know, freaky. And why do the bike seats hurt your ass so much? Can't they make a semi-comfortable bike seat? Just put enough padding on it to not hurt my bony ass! I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. Maybe I'll bring an extra towel for padding tomorrow.
I'm all : frenetic
