What's EAX stand for, anyway?
I keep messing with the mp3 player trying to get the EAX to be what I want, but I can't figure out anything but presets. It's an equalizer type of thing.

Last night I was actually going to BUY a CD. Can you believe it? At the CD store, even! But they didn't have it. They did have one CD that is probably very good, but I'm kinda picky about what I buy. DJs vex me.
So, we left from the CD store, and we went to Quik Trip because somehow I always end up at Quik Trip, and I got out and was putting gas in my car, and my sister walks toward the store, and then she stops, and RALPHS right there on the pavement! It was eww. I almost ralphed from seeing her.

So, since I didn't find the CD I wanted, I got Rurouni Kenshin #3. My sister almost bought a bansai tree. She ended up with a murder mystery novel. Later, I tried to hook up this old parallel-port flatbed scanner, but it never did work. And since my moneys is on hole at the bank yo, I can't buy a new one until next week. I suppose instead of arguing with the scanner, I could have done better searching online for scans.

Would you believe, I didn't get my calendar yet. I'm sure it will come today, but it's too late for January. That's kindof a disappointment.

EAX = Environmental Audio eXtensions. Basically it's supposed to simulate environments... why an MP3 player would have it is beyond me. Basically it's supposed to make it sound like you're in a room of a certain type.
This place is filthy.

Yeah, it does that. An mp3 player would have it so that when you are listening to mp3s you can use the environments to make it sound different. I was trying out all the options in the car this morning. They didn't have "dance club" or "karaoke bar".
I saved you a seat.

Typical audio environment options are actually mistranslated from the original Chinese. They should read:
  • Paper Towel Tube
  • Small, flat-walled bathroom
  • Tin can
  • Medium, flat-walled bathroom
  • Large, flat-walled bathroom
  • Wrapping paper tube </ol>
Stop asking about milk already.

small room and bathroom are on the list!
But you have to understand that the passenger side front door speaker is busted, so I try to make things better any way I can. I dunno how that one blew out but the driver's side one didn't. The dash speakers and the back seat speakers all work fine.

They should have a preset "Val's car".
