Ahahaha, left IM on all night...
So, I'll try to remember the questions posed by people who IMd me and answer here:

1.) ishiyakazuo -- No, I only have the one movie. I watched it, though! How many total episodes are there? I should at least buy vol. 1, huh.

2.) valamelmeo -- Uhh... crap, I forgot what you said. It's at home on my computer. I hope you got up on time today.

3.) mrurth -- I almost bought more DVDs last night! I was going to get all of FLCL. I still am, sometime.

I went to bed quite early last night. I pseudo-woke up at like 4:30am, and cats were pestering me. I stayed in bed until 6am, then I got up and watched a divx. Then I came to work. Now I'm going to ... I dunno, work, or order CDs off the internet. Aiko and Sun Yanzi.

Yesterday I forgot to bring my mp3 player in the car, so I listened to the radio. I heard this song, and it was all R&B and smoove. The lyrics were something like "Love is troublesome, it makes you do crazy things, and you're blind to lies and what's the point anyway..." and once again, those are not quotes of any kind, but more of Val's special interpretations that only convey the gist of the wr0ds. Because I don't remember the wr0ds.
Anyway, it was a female vocalist, anyone know what song that is?

I'm all : curious curious

I think there's a lot of Lupin episodes... like, there were multiple series of Lupin in various eras in Japanese history.

 Re:
yeah that's what I was afraid of. but, Ithink there's only one set available in the US. And I gotta say, the dub is pretty good. The subs are kinda dry, so I like some of the edits they made so that it didn't sound dry in the dub. The voices are pretty much right on, in my view.

Do you know, there was a Toonheads one time that showed a bunch of Private Snafu cartoons. Only time I'd ever seen 'em. Well worth my staying up too late that night.

 Re:
My info may be a year out of date, but the Lupin situation as I understand it is this.

There's two seasons of the TV show. Of which only the first season is licensed. Then there's all the countless movies.

As far as the anime/manga go, there's only one Lupin - the Lupin III of the title. Not sure where the idea there's lots of Lupin's through various eras of Japanese history comes from. Perhaps you're confusing it with the fact that Lupin was named after a French character called Arsène Lupin, and is supposed to be his grandson. This page mentions another Lupin cartoon, but one that's connected to the original Lupin, not Lupin III.

HTH, HAND. :)

How many movies arelicensed? Ionly saw one. Which I bought. Seemed like there were quite a few discs of episodes, though. I'll never collect 'em all if there's a lot.

Wait a minute... that can't possibly be Nick Honeywell. It's an imposter! Nick never uses :)!!!! He always uses =)

BEGONE, FOUL DOPPLEGANGER! I'm telling.

So, you guys like Lupin III, if you were gonna make a usericon from the show, what would it be?

 Re:
Looking at Amazon.com, there seem to be 14 Lupin DVDs including the TV series. That is, the ones with Lupin in the title - some don't have it, which is annoying. And let's not mention that some have "Lupin III" and some have "Lupin the 3rd". Grr, inconsistencies!

Um, anyway. I haven't seen that many of the Lupin movies, and you don't say which one you bought, so I'll just say that The Castle of Cagliostro is widely considered to be the best Lupin film.

I'm not sure when it happened, but I seem to have dropped out of using =) instead of :) Terrible of me, I know. But I'm no doppleganger!

Wouldn't have a clue about icons, I'm terrible at making them myself as it is. :)

The movie I have is called in English "The Mystery of Mamo" or something like that. I dunno if it's the best movie or not. It's good & funny, tho.
