Hey, man. Don't eat that.
Yesterday I was at work until nearly 10:00 PM. That doesn't sound so bad unless you know that I got to work before 7:30 AM. I rock! And... I oversleep. "Work hangover."
I was about to ask for CD recommendations, but - did I spell recommendations right? who cares - then I remembered that Bob Schneider is going to be at Bill's Records on Friday, I would assume to sign copies of his new CD, which I don't have yet, but which I need. It's during my lunch hour, but I've gone to Bill's during lunch before and it's only taken a little over an hour to go there, do stuff, and come back here. Plus I worked 14 hours yesterday, I think they'll allow me a long lunch on Friday. I probably won't be going to the concert Friday night because I really hate Deep Ellum, unless I have a host of people to go with. Which I don't. I wish he'd play Plano. Don't they have rock musicians at the balloon festival? I don't know, I haven't gone since like the mid 90s or something.
I just went to the cafeteria, and I was going to get soup because I have a cold, and both of the soups had meat in them. This has been the case all week. I can't fathom what possesses them to condemn all vegetarians to a soupless existence. Nor can I fathom their bizarre craving for bacon. Perhaps the cafeteria is run by cats.
