I'm just stopping in from component_help and I would just like to say .... wow.

I have a couple of questions, namely 2 for the moment:

How did you get that image to appear within your entryHeader?
How is the box for the picture just above your Communities list formatted? is that through the flatbox code?

Entry header = that was just a bgpic I put in the style overrides. There's a .entryHeader section and I just added a bgpic to that.

The box with a picture in it, that was more complicated. I had to create the whole comp from scratch. The picture inside is set using a bgpic in the stylesheet. If you take the code from print_comp_header and modify it to not have text or a bgcolor or the horizontal line separating it from the comp content, then the comp footer code, which for some reason I had to modify a bit to make it right. This isn't formatted so it'll look doofy, but it's the basic idea of the code:

"""

<td class="dkLine"><img src="http://www.livejournal.com/palimg/component/clear.gif" width="1" height="1" alt="" border="0" /></td>
<td valign="top" rowspan="3" colspan="3" width="5"><img src="http://www.livejournal.com/palimg/component/curve-top-right.gif/

hmm interesting...

I've been trying to experiment with putting other things in the entryHeader itself, ideally images that are links to nameAnchors, etc. I've got an idea in mind for an unofficial innerJournal style chooser. Although the notion of a background image in there, is a new one for me... i'm assuming your css kinda looks like this for it..

background-position: top right; /* if background image, make it start in center */
background-attachment: fixed; /* if background image, make it scroll when scrollbars used */
background-image: url("www.headerImg.com/img.gif"); /* url for background image */

right?

(runs off to see how your custom component code looks)
